Marc has been actively involved in the world of recruitment, CV writing and career management since 1996.
After graduating from Manchester University with a Joint Honours Degree in French and Spanish, Marc embarked on a career in recruitment working for one of the large High Street brands.
After 5 years there Marc followed his entrepreneurial dream and started his own business. He currently oversees two recruitment companies with 25 staff and 3 offices across the South East of England.
This led to an interest in the art of CV writing and the psychology involved and Marc firmly believes that it is the small differences on a CV that make the biggest difference. This is more true than ever in our current financial situation where on average your CV is given less than a minute to impress and is one of perhaps up to 100 CV’s for any given role.
With over 15 years experience of promoting candidates and securing interviews on the basis of the CV’s that he prepared, Marc moved away from recruitment into the world of career management.
Marc now spends the vast majority of his time writing CV’s for a wide variety of industries. Amongst his biggest challenges so far have been writing one for an Oncologist and one for a specialist Compliance Manager from a Military Aviation company.
Outside work Marc spends most of his time with his 2 children and at White Hart Lane – home of the world famous Tottenham Hotspur.
